today we were discussing the parable of the sower (Matthew 13v1-23) at our morning meeting. something to think about...
who has planted seed in you over the years?
what were those people like/what did they do?
who are you planting seeds in?

I was thinking recently about God the Rock. A place of security, to shelter the storm, to hide from the enemy and to survive the floods.
Then I compared this to the rocky ground, place where the seed is exposed and where it is stolen by birds. A place where if any life is shown it is short lived as there is nowhere for roots to get sustenance and nourishment. A place which promises much but gives nothing.
So much better to Build on the Rock of the Lord than to grow on the rocky places of this world.
